Risk Assessment
Bellwether has extensive experience in modelling railway systems and their
components for the purposes of assurance and safety and performance decision
support. We are able to combine techniques such as Fault Tree/Event Tree/Cause-Consequence
Modelling and dynamic layout simulation into an appropriate package to meet
our client's needs.
We have played a central part in the development of risk modelling within
the British mainline rail network, including the West Coast Route Modernisation
network safety risk models, risk models for individual assets and risk assessment
for layout simulation.
Our work has been used to support Safety Cases, Business Cases, management
understanding and engineering decisions.
