Reliability & Safety Management
Bellwether has been involved in the setting up of several project safety and RAM (Reliability, Availability and Maintainability)
management systems, using adaptations of the systems described in the Railway
Group's "Yellow Book" and the CENELEC 50126/8/9 set of standards.
Bellwether staff have worked in the safety management of many projects, customers including Thameslink, Virgin Trains, Elekta Oncology Systems, Union Switch and Signal, Network Rail, Alstom, Fairy Hydraulics, WS Atkins, Parsons, Westinghouse and Transport for London.
We work closely with the designers of the products, human factors teams and approvals bodies in order to ensure that each project is as successful as it can be. Our staff thus have many years' experience generating and providing input into safety cases and RAM reports for the UK transport industry.
